در میان زنبورهای متعلق به بالاخانواده Chalcidoidea که در تاریخ 21/5/90 با استفاده از تله مالیز از استان آذربایجانشرقی، خسروشهر جمعآوری شده بودند، نمونههایی با نام علمی Stephanodes similis (Förster) شناسایی گردید. این گونه برای نخستینبار از ایران گزارش میشود و بدینترتیب تعداد گونههای شناخته شده از این جنس در ایران به دو گونه میرسد.
